How to choose the jewellery material that suits you?
Will I be allergic?
Will the colour fade?

916 Gold
916 Gold, also known as 22K Gold has 91.6% of gold content within the alloy. 916 Gold is considered the most perfect for jewellery making as it is less malleable than pure 999 Gold. This precious metal also holds its value over time, making 916 Gold jewellery great investment pieces to treasure forever.

925 Sterling Silver
925 Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% of pure silver mixed with 7.5% of other metals (often copper or zinc) to create a more durable metal. This is different from silver plated jewellery, where a thin layer of silver is deposited over another base metal or alloy. When 925 Sterling Silver starts to oxidise, just wipe with a silver polishing cloth to restore shine. Most people do not have allergy reactions to 925 sterling silver.

Brass
Due to the softness of brass properties, brass jewellery are almost always plated, and the plating process increases endurance and durability, and makes the surface smooth and beautiful. It is normal for oxidation and discolouration to occur when the jewellery is worn for a prolonged period of time, and is in contact with body sweat. Alternate the wear of your jewellery pieces, and store them in zipper bags to reduce discolouration and extend the lifespan of these precious trinkets.

Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is a lasting metal for jewellery. It is also hypoallergenic, excellent for individuals with allergies and sensitive skin. Stainless steel jewellery are long lasting, and its colour will not fade easily.

Plating Process
Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold onto a base metal such as Silver or Brass using an electrochemical process. It is a rich and highly polished material that is perfect for jewellery or precious objects. The gold plating process gives the jewellery a smooth and beautiful finish, and also makes the surface durable and strong.

Rhodium Plated Jewellery
Rhodium is one of the rarest and most valuable precious metals. It is often used to plate jewellery because of its highly-reflective finish. It is also hypoallergenic.

Everyone's physique is different, and allergies are likely to be different as well. By understanding more of the above materials, you can pick the right jewellery that suits you most.
